Marida Maccari, artist with a wide interest in the formal search giving successful results, goes from a kaleidoscopic composition of reality to a likewise kaleidoscopic immersion in a surreal/oneiric dimension in which the urges and communicative anxieties of this artist pour in stimulating and intense convergences. Therefore a part of the show (the non figurative one) painted by Maccari echoes of golden voices, of fires, of luminous flashes; it’s tangles of pure vital energy emerging with all the strength and vitality that this clever artist has been proving up to now.
Some of her works, even though superficially simplified in the poetic language, convey images that allow this artist to express herself fully and freely, taking the viewer to a position of immediate interiorization without any need for explanations or further meditation. An expressive talent, which has probably already trespassed on a position of surrealistic, metaphysical touch.
This has to be understood as a need to trace back the visual drive to a purification, a still flawless and pure virginity, which is expressed above all in the ample, vigorous instinctive chromatic modulations, however, always taking into account her painting and compositive complex structure. In her, "poetry of life" has found an artist able to generate a type of painting aiming at transforming every personal meditation into a universal one going beyond the limits of reality itself.
